TMC Compressors works for climate action

Resource scarcity and climate changes enforces stricter rules and regulations to reduce the consumption of nonrenewable energy sources and energy sources that cause GHG emissions.

In the shipping industry, an energy transition has been enforced to eventually shift from oil consumption to other more sustainable energy sources. Simultaneously, the industry is working on utilizing new energy sources, new and alternative propulsion systems, new hull designs, new technologies to reduce GHG emissions, and operational efficiency measures.

TMC Compressors responds on the drivers for change. We continuously work to become in line with the regulations, and comply with any future technical requirement for pressurized air on board ships.

At any time, TMC is therefore an organization that follows the UN sustainability goals, in particular number 8 (Decent work and economic growth), 13 (Climate action) and 14 (Life below water), and has developed a product portfolio that reflects the very ambitious energy saving targets through:

Allowing compressor packages to be configured along the lines of the UN sustainability goals is only achievable through sophisticated calculations and simulations.

Combining operational compressor performance data harvesting and analysis with the world leading marine compressor expertise, enables TMC to reduce the environmental impact of products throughout their lifecycle.

Our vision:

TMC compressors on every ship and every rig at sea.
